About Us

Via Gioberti has been born from a love of style, all things European, family and friends.

After 21 years of operating a successful fashion, accessories and lifestyle boutique in Williamstown, Rita decided to take the leap of faith into starting her own label. Teaming up with her daughter Alex and her son-in-law George, along with the support and encouragement of her family and long-standing clientele, the trio opened Via Gioberti in February 2024 in Williamstown. The boutique resides in Ferguson Street Williamstown and has been inspired by Via Gioberti in Florence, Italy. Known as "the street of 100 boutiques", our Via Gioberti encapsulates the essence of Europe in the seaside village of Williamstown.

The Label

Via Gioberti the label encapsulates classic styles with elevated elegance. Each design is informed by 20+ years of understanding our clients, with every piece undergoing multiple fittings across a variety of shapes and sizes to ensure that they feel and look incredible on the body! Each clothing piece in the Via Gioberti range is designed and hand-made locally in Melbourne. The daughter of a seamstress, it has been instilled in Rita from a young age that you can tell the quality of a piece of clothing by turning it inside-out, hence why each of our makers are selected personally by us. 

The Boutique

Via Gioberti the boutique has been designed to feel like your dream wardrobe, with a wall dedicated to accessories and a wall dedicated to clothing. Rita has always been known for her vast collection of jewellery, bags, scarves and belts. Whist many of our accessories are designed by Via Gioberti, our boutique also houses many international accessories. Aside from our in-house label, the boutique stocks a variety of Melbourne brands, whilst also featuring many international niche labels that have been sourced by the Via Gioberti team, with our clients always front of mind.
